From director Clay Tweel and executive producer J. Cole, OUT OF OMAHA traces 8 years in the coming-of-age journey of Darcell and Darrell Trotter, identical twin brothers from North Omaha. By intimately portraying the twins’ hopes and struggles, and the love and help they give and get along the way, the film examines just how much it can take to overcome disadvantages rooted in historic injustice.
OUT OF OMAHA made its world premiere at DocNYC, where it won its first of multiple Audience Awards. The film is now available on the AMC family of channels and on AppleTV, Amazon, Google Play, and FandangoNOW.
