Lord Buckley in Los Angeles
Already a hit in London and New York, Firefly brought Jake Broder's wild incarnation of Lord Buckley to Los Angeles in 2006. Buckley single-handedly brought "Hip Semantic" into the mainstream in the 1950s and was one of the most influenctial figures of American counter-culture, inspiring a host of visionary performers, including Lenny Bruce, Robin Williams, Richard Prior, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Thelonious Monk, and Frank Sinatra.
